Updates!

Haven't updated in a while so here's what's been happing in Ms. Khloe's world...She is now eating chicken (though she hates the texture), mango and sweet corn! I don't wait the 5 days that the pedi recommends before introducing new food...We feed her the food for 2 days for a total of 4 times and then we move on! At the pedi's rate she would only be introduced to 6 foods a month and that is just crazy! It only takes 4 hours to know of an allergic reaction soooooooooo I'm sticking to my way! lol She's sitting a little better now and we hope she is able to sit by her 6 month check up on July 6th! Since I am back at work next Monday :( David will be taking her to her appointment so I'm already making a list of questions for him to ask the pedi. We have taken Khloe to the lavender festival, her aunt's High School graduation and Victoria Gardens (where she finally used her stroller without the car seat for the first time!) Auntie Kristie also came over to the house and saw Khloe during her 5 monthaversary and Auntie Tefis got her a cute watermelon dress! My mom and I went to Vegas and David took care of Khloe and he did great! My dad is in Mexico and has been there for 3 weeks and took my camara :( He left me with a crappy one which is why I haven't posted pictures in a LONG time! He is back this weekend and I will update pictures soon!

First Playdate/Chivas-America Classic/Randoms!

Mommy and I went to Victoria Gardens (a perfect day to stroll around on Earth Day) to meet Auntie Kristie's 'cousin' Meghan & Hailey. Mommy follows their blog so they decided it was time to meet. We had a lot of fun! Mommy and Meghan had lunch at Lucille's BBQ while I played with my toys and Hailey had avocado and chicken...It looked good and I can't wait to try it! After eating we walked/strolled around :) the kids stores and visited the puppies. I can't wait to do it again soon!

My favorite time of the day! I sat on Grandpa for the whole first half of the game and WATCHED it ;) I'm a true Chivas at Heart! My Grandpa played soccer for so many years that he can call every play, it is amazing!

Jonathan and Great Grandma (haha!) Elizabeth came to visit me. I loved seeing them again because I hadn't seen them since the NICU. They brought Mommy some goodies and a little kangaroo stuffed animal for me which I like to play with! Kim and Little Dee also visited me (Mommy forgot to take a picture since they were so busy talking about puppies!) This was their first time meeting me and they ended up taking the last puppy home which was great because they also have another dog from one of Grandpa's litters!

I kept pulling Mommy's hair because it looked different! That night Mommy and Daddy were spontaneous and snuck out to BJ's in the middle of the night while I slept (they didn't leave me home alone, Grandma kept checking up on me)

Over The Weekend

My Mommy tried on my sunglasses that Chris gave me and they finally fit!

On Saturday we had the Martinez Family and Friends over at Grandma's house for them to meet me. Here I am with Sandra and her husband.

My first trip to the Orange County Marketplace. My Auntie Kristie is holding me and my Daddy is in the back. We decided to make this trip a tradition every year before Easter as they give away eggs for the kids, stuffed animals, picture with the Easter Bunny and more!

Auntie Kristie Came to Visit Again!

Look at how much I've grown in a month and a half! I really enjoy spending time with Auntie Kristie and we are going to see each other once a month now!

2 Month Pediatrician Appointment

I had my 2 month pedi appointment and shots. Auntie Tefis came along cause Mommy didn't want to see them give me the shots since she's scared of needles! Surprisingly, she was able to hold my little arms down as they gave me 3 shots on my legs and 1 oral. I only cried for a few seconds but then I got my pacifier and fell asleep. The doctor told Mommy to give me Children's Tylenol if I got fussy or got a fever. I now weigh 9.12lbs and measure 21.5 inches. The doctor said that I'm doing really well and that during my 4 month appoinment he'll talk to Mommy about introducing rice cereal and stage 1 foods. When he was checking my eyes and ears I smiled at him and stuck out my tongue lol
